Eid-el-Kabir: Bayo Lawal greets Aare Musulumi, Oyo MC Chairman, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, others
The Chairman, Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barr. Abdul Raheem Bayo Lawal has extended greetings to Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alh Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, Chairman, Muslim Community in Oyo State, Alhaji Kunle Sani, Chief Imam of Ibadanland and league of imam in Oyo state as Islamic faithful all over the world mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In his Sallah message on sunday, the former Oyo Attorney General, said the festival is an opportunity for us to appreciate and celeberate with one another as a people bounded in love and peace.
Barr. Bayo Lawal, who is PDP deputy governorship candidate in next year’s election, urged the adherents to use this opportunity to continue to reflect on its lessons which include love, obedience, sacrifice and compassion among others.
The statement read: “As Muslim observed the mandatory prayer across the globe on Saturday, I am pleased to send warm greetings to you.
“I pray to Allah Almighty to grant us his guidance, safeguard our faith, unite our ranks, strengthen our solidarity and make the world a prosperous and peaceful one.”
