Doctors speak on VP Osinbajo’s health condition after surgery

The surgical operation the Nigerian Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has undergone has been announced successful.

The team of doctors made this revelation via a statement released Saturday night.

They said the break of the the vice president’s right femur (thigh bone) had to do with a longstanding injury associated with a game of squash.

Professor Osinbajo, has been treated by the medical experts for the recurrent pain caused by the fracture.

The VP was on Saturday hospitalized at the Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos.

“The operation was successful, and he is expected to be discharged within the next few days”, said Dr Adedoyin Dosunmu-Ogunbi, the Medical Director.

The team of medical experts who did the surgery include, Dr. Wallace Ogufere, Dr. Om Lahoti and Dr. Babajide Lawson, all Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons).

Others were Dr Dosunmu-Ogunbi (Consultant Physician), Dr. Ken Adegoke (Consultant in Anaesthesia & Critical Care) and Dr. Oladimeji Agbabiaka, Consultant Anaesthetists.
