Atiku, Okowa, PDP senate caucus meet
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar; his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, and the National Chairman of the party, Dr Iyorchia Ayu on Tuesday night, had a meeting with the PDP senate caucus.
The former Vice President revealed this via a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
The PDP senators, as postulated by Atiku were led by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda.
The tweet reads, “Last night, my Vice Presidential candidate @IAOkowa and @OfficialPDPNig National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu and I met with the PDP Senate Caucus led by Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Philip Aduda.
“It was a fruitful meeting that focused on the unity of our party ahead of the 2023 election. -AA”.
Although the PDP presidential flagbearer did not unveil the reason for the meeting, it may be connected with the current issue rocking the party.
