Tinubu’s running mate, Masari, reveals how he lost his original certificates

Kabiru Masari, the running mate to the presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has informed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that his original certificates are no where to be found.

The vice presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, who’s still a placeholder revealed via an affidavit forwarded to the electoral commission that he had missed the original certificates while on transit in part of the nation’s capital.

Report has it that Masari in the documents forwarded to the electoral body, produced an affidavit that his primary and secondary schools certificates are missing.

In the documents, he revealed that he had his Primary school education in Katsina State between 1972-78.

Masari according to documents, said in 1982, he later got a Grade 2 Certificate from Katsina Teachers College and a Higher Certificate in 1995.

The affidavit partly reads: “That I am the above-named person and bonafide owner of the under-listed documents. That sometimes in January 2021, while on transit within Wuse Area, FCT– Abuja, I discovered that my original Certificate of Occupancy of plot NoKT 17522, GRA Katsina Estate; Certificate of Kaduna State Development Centre from 1994-95; Grade 11 Certificate from Katsina Teachers College from 1979-83 and First Leaving School Certificate issued by Masari Primary School Katsina State from 1972-78 got lost”.

He noted that all efforts to get the missing documents since 2021 have not yielded positive result.
