Russia murders 80 Polish soldiers, removes flag from Katyn

Russia has confessed that its troops have neutralized “up to 80” Polish fighters in “precision strikes” in eastern Ukraine.

The Russia has boasted that its troops have completely dominated the city of Severodonetsk in the eastern region.

The Russia’s defence ministry has revealed via a statement on Saturday that “up to 80 Polish mercenaries, 20 armoured combat vehicles and eight Grad multiple rocket launchers were destroyed in precision strikes on the Megatex zinc factory in Konstantinovka.”

Russia has also revealed that it would not tolerate Polish flag in its monuments.

The government of President Vladimir Putin has made this revelation while taking away Polish flag from Soviet massacre memorial.

The president remarked that removing the polish flag was to commemorate the thousands of Poles killed by the Soviet Union.

This came following heightened tensions between Russia and Poland over the ongoing Russo-Ukraine war.

The mayor of Smolensk city, Andrei Borisov while confirming the removal of the flag from the western Russia’s Katyn memorial, said: “There cannot be Polish flags on Russian monuments. Even less so after the frankly anti-Russian comments by Polish political leaders,” Borisov said on social media platform, VKontakte.

He supported the Russian Ministry of Culture for taking away the flag, while insisting the ministry “made the right decision by removing the Polish flag. Katyn is a Russian memorial.”
