Funeral mass commences for Owo church attack victims

It is thirteen days after the horrific attack by gunmen on innocent worshippers at Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.

The funeral mass for the deceased victims has begun.

MOUTHPIECE NGR had reported that on June 5, some gunmen attacked St. Francis Catholic Church, Owaluwa Street, Owo, during church service.

Forty of the innocent worshippers lost their lives in the church, several others sustained various degrees of injuries and have been hospitalized.

The funeral mass commenced at 10:00 am after the caskets with the bodies of the deceased victims were brought in.

The venue of the mass was Mydas Resort, Owo.

The Governor of the State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu was in attendance with other top personalities.
