Ogbomoso South PDP unite, endorse Oyo majority leader for ‘second term’

Ahead of 2023 general elections, the consensus candidate, Ogbomoso South House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin popularly known as SANJAY on Saturday concluded a peace meeting with Ogbomoso South PDP executives and Co-aspirants for Assembly seat. 

Mouthpiece NGR understands that the peace meeting held at Westmead Hotel, Ogbomoso, was in continuation of the unification efforts of the Chief of Staff to Governor, Hon. Segun Ebenezer Ogunwuyi. 

Some of the House of Assembly aspirants in attendance were; Hon. Fagbemi Temidayo, Hon. Amusan Damilare, Mr Emmanuel Omoyosoye, Mr. Ajibola Jeleel, Mr Dawood Aworawo except Mr Sunday Adeyemo who was unavoidably absent.

The Majority Leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, Sanjo Adedoyin, in his efforts towards unifying with the contenders towards the success of the party at the polls assured everyone at the meeting of all-inclusive representation.

All parties afterwards, concluded to work in solidarity for the emergence of Governor Seyi Makinde and the consensus candidate, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyins’ reelection. 

While speaking, Hon Fagbemi Temidayo pledged his loyalty to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and maintained that the party’s decision would be strictly respected.

Adedoyin who thanked Governor Seyi Makinde deeply expressed appreciation to all the aspirants for their show of sportsmanship and good hearts towards the success of PDP at the polls.

“I want to appreciate all party leaders here present and of course, other aspirants for their spirit of sportsmanship. This is a great step towards the massive emergence of PDP at 2023 elections.”

Party leaders in attendance include Hon. Taiwo Alagbe, Apostle Moses Olamoyegun, Prince Felix Akande, Hon. Oyedokun Timothy, Hon. Oladipo Rotimi, Mrs. Olaniran Toyin, Hon. Aremo Jeleel, Hon. Emmanuel Oladejo, among others.
