Wike discloses candidate PDP will give 2023 presidential ticket
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has announced that Nigeria will shake when the South finally make public its decisions concerning the 2023 presidential election, Mouthpiece NGR reports.
He went on to say that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will only give its sole presidential ticket to a candidate who puts Nigerians’ interests first.
The Governor stated that the main opposition party would not be bullied into handing over its presidential ticket to selfish politicians who would only serve the interests of Nigeria’s wealthy few.

Wike reiterated that political leaders in the south will soon announce their decision on the country’s top position, according to a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri.
“The day the south speaks, Nigeria will shake,” Wike said. We believe in the country’s unity, but no one can put us in danger. Nobody should put us in danger. We believe in Nigerian unity, and Nigerian unity must be maintained.”
“No amount of gang-up can make PDP give someone who will want to run an election for the benefit of a few big men, not for the benefit of all Nigerians,” he added.
“Anyone who wishes to run for the PDP must do so in the best interests of Nigerians.”
