Napoli Targets Liverpool’s Striker To Replace Victor Oshimhen

Italian Serie A club Napoli has disclosed that it would be willing to part company with their record signing Victor Osimhen if they receive a monster bid amid speculation linking the Nigeria international with a move to the Premier League.

As released by TuttomerCato on its transfer market site, Napoli are interested in signing Liverpool attacker Divock Origi who is out of contract in the summer.

Those at the top in Parthenopeans have the belief that Origi is the ideal replacement for Osimhen and in the event that the Nigerian is not sold, the Belgium international could play alongside the former Lille star.

Napoli have set the wheels in action to sign Origi by making contact with the player’s intermediaries.

As gathered by the Mouthpiece News NGR, the hitch to the deal is that Origi currently takes home 4.5 million euros gross per season at Liverpool, which is more than Napoli’s salary limit of 3 million euros.

Our reporter, Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed, says Osimhen is a player destined for the English Premier League.

Recall that the 2015 U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner is under contract with Napoli until June 30, 2025.
