3SC: Makinde Appoints Olaniyan As Sole Administrator

The current Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has concurred to the appointment of an ex-Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Babatunde Olaniyan, as Sole Administrator of Shooting Stars Sports Club popularly called 3SC.

It should be stressed that the club is an Ibadan-based football club.

Mouthpiece NGR News gathered that Makinde disclosed this appointment on today 25th February, 2022.

Recall that Olaniyan has represented Ibadan North Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly between 2011 and 2015, during which he served as Deputy Speaker.

The appointment letter was signed on his behalf by Secretary to the State Government, Olubamiwo Adeosun and also advising the new sole administrator to perform his functions with “absolute loyalty”.

He said, “I am delighted to inform you that the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, has graciously approved your appointment as a Sole Administrator for Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) with effect from 24th February 2022″.

Our correspondent, Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed, covered that Olaniyan holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Kinetics and Health Education from the University of Ibadan.

Note that he  has served as Chairman, Oyo State Football Referee Academy since 2004 and has also served as Premier League Football Match Commissioner since 2010.
