Soun Ogbomoso: Oke-LEGACY appreciates Gov. Makinde’s visit, says State burial befitting

Member, Oyo Local Government Service Commission, Hon. John Adisa Oke Ph.D has expressed profound appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for announcing that the late Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III will get a state burial. 

Mouthpiece NGR had earlier reported that the governor on Monday morning paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Soun of Ogbomosoland. 

Oke who was House of Representatives aspirant in 2019 under the People’s Democratic Party, said Baba left a good legacy and would be sorely missed for his contributions to Ogbomoso, Oyo and Nigeria at large. 

He prayed God should give the royal family and the good people of Ogbomoso land the fortitude to bear the loss. 

Oke also prayed that Ogbomoso land will continue to progress and the vision Baba had for Ogbomoso land will be accomplished by the grace of God.”
