Oyo State Youths congratulates Prof. Raphael Afonja on new appointment
Oyo State Youth has felicitated with Prof. Raphael Afonja on his new appointment as the Chairman Trustee of the Atiku Mandate, South West, describing the appointment a well deserved and a right peg in a right hole.
The Spokesperson, in a congratulatory message, described Afonja as; “a politician with good and perfect records who has served Oyo state in different capacities and most qualified in handling the new oneous role.
The group also reiterated total support for Prof. Raphael Afonja ahead of the new tasks and his future political movements and endeavours.
The official congratulatory greetings were made while at an event in remembrance of his late mother which held in his country home in Ogbomoso.
The event which was attended by prominent personalities including South West PDP stakeholders; the Chairman who also double as the vice chairman of Oyo state PDP of chairmen also had in attendance all the cordinators of ATIKU MANDATE in the South West.
While declaring their support for Prof Afonja, they thanked God for his role and assures Alh. Atiku Abubakar that Afonja will deliver given to his track records in politics.
Prof. Afonja, in his vote of thanks after the meeting with the team, wishes all Nigerians a happy new year.
He pleaded with Nigerians to support qualified someone with experience in the bid to salvage the current situation the country has found itself.
