South East CHAPTER OF BBIGN Meets In Awka, Intensifies Resolve To Convince, Support Rt Hon. Chibuike Amaechi for 2023 Presidency

A group – Bridge Builders Initiative For Green Nigeria (BBIGN), South East chapter, has renewed its resolve and determination to convince the Honourable Minister of Transport His Excellency Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to run for presidency come 2023. Addressing the press after their meeting on thursday 12th August 2021 at Lumen Christi Hall, Ngozika Estate, Awka Anambra State, the National Vice President (South East) Hon. Austin Okezie said that the group is puting machineries in place to convince the Hon Minister of Transport to contest the 2023 Presidency on the flagship of All Progressives Congress (APC). 

He emphasised the need to do so considering the rare qualities of the Honourable Minister. 

According to him ‘we are doing everything possible to convince the Honourable Minister of Trasportation His Excellency Rt Hon. Chibuike Ameachi to offer himself for the 2023 presidency. 

Considering the rich qualities of the Honourable Minister, we feel Nigerians and Nigeria stand to benefit immensely if His Excellency Chibuike Amaechi becomes the Nigerian president come 2023. Everybody has seen the indelible marks he is making in the transportation sector, especially in the area of marine transport and security, and then the landmark transformation in the railway sector which has redefined rail transportation in the country, puting smiles on the faces of millions of Nigerians who use the rail facility. 

Furthermore, the BBIGN Vice President (South East) Hon. Austin Okezie said that the need for His Excellency Rt. Hon Chibuike Amaechi to run for presidency in 2023 becomes very necessary considering the clamour for a President of Igbo extraction.

 In his words, “with the increased clamour for a president of Igbo extraction, it has become increasingly necessary for the Honourable Minister to heed to this call to contest for the presidency in 2023. His Excellency Chibuike Amaechi is an Igbo son who has made the Igbos proud in his track records in public service starting from his days as the speaker of the House of Assembly for eight years, governor for eight years and now the Honourable Minister of Transportation. And we urge our party APC to please uphold this justice of giving the Honourable Minister of transportation as an Igbo man, the chance of becoming the president of Nigeria. 

In Hon. Amaechi, Igbos both in Nigeria and in diaspora feel very much at home, knowing that he will continue with the good works of President Buhari in taking Nigeria to more enviable heights.

Also speaking, the Anambra State Coordinator of BBIGN, Ichie Iwuejina A. Igbokwe (Agbalanze Umuchu) described Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi as a focused, hardworking and disciplined Nigerian who has excelled in his service to the Nigerian people, emphasising the need for all Nigerians to come together and support the Honourable Minister to become the Nigerian President come 2023 for the interest of our beloved country Nigeria.. 

Supporting the foregoing, the Director of Education and Content Development of BBIGN  Anambra state Chapter, Prof Mike Aghadiuno said that His Excellency Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a detribalized Nigerian who appeals to all and sundry in Nigeria. “What he is doing in the railway sector is wonderful, a key aspect of the massive infrastructural transformation that is heralding a new Nigeria. We are very proud of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, and we thank President Muhammadu Buhari for trusting him with such important task”. He expressed optimism that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi will make a good president who will further deepen democratic ideals and massive development in all parts of the country.
