The Full-time commissioner of Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, John Adisa-Oke Ph.D has felicitated with Muslim faithful in the state and across the country on their Eid-al-adha celebration.
In a statement released to the newsmen, he enjoined all Muslims to be reminded of the teachings of Prophet Muhammad as regards Eid-al-adha which is sacrifice, love and forbearance with Allah and one another.
Full-time commissioner of the LGSC further noted that: “As muslims, we must remember that Islam preaches love and also remember the purpose of slaughtering rams in celebration of this festival which is to reinforce consciousness of God in all our deeds and wishes.
“As I congratulate muslims in Ogbomoso and Oyo state at large, may I remind that in unity lies the strength.”
Adisa-Oke also urged all residents and indigenes of the state to continue to support Makinde’s led administration and unite against the prevailing common challenges of insecurity ravaging the nation.
