Ogbomoso South Councillors felicitate with Muslims on Eid-el-kabir

Ogbomoso South Councillors’ Forum has congratulated all Muslim faithful in Ogbomoso South local government, Oyo state, and across the country on the occasion of 1442 Eid-al-adha celebration.

In a statement, the OSCF urged all Muslims to abide by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad as contained in the holy Qur’an, adding that as a people there’s every reason to be thankful to the Almighty.

The statement read: “While celebrating the Eid with our family and friends, we should continue to be guided by the lessons of peace, love, humility, sympathy and charity as preached by the Prophet Muhammad.

“As a people, we have every reason to be thankful to Allah (Swt) for the gift of life and good health to witness this day”.

They also commended the people for keeping faith with the government both at state and local levels. “We want to use this opportunity to express our profound gratitude to the good people of Ogbomoso South and Oyo state, for keeping faith with this administration.

“Your kind prayers and steadfastness in this government has given us the encouragement to remain focused in the discharge of our responsibilities,” The statement concluded.
