Lanlehin congratulates Muslims, urges them to keep the faith at Eid-el Fitr

In commemoration of this year’s Eid-el Fitr, which significantly marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (Solan), has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the month.

Lanlehin, in a release from his Media Bureau in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, then charged them to keep the faith, as they continue living in holiness, piety and perseverance, which were the hallmarks of the just concluded month.

Lanlehin, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reminded Muslims of the need to continue praying for Nigeria in general, and Oyo State in particular, for peace, progress and development. Said he: “I especially urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to keep Nigeria and Oyo State in their prayers, for the progress of today, and the sustenance of tomorrow.”

Senator Lanlehin (Solan) who prayed that the rewards of the just concluded Holy Month of Ramadan would be the lot of all, charged Muslims to continually live their lives in total obedience, and acceptance of Almighty Allah’s sovereignty, same way they reverently did in the just concluded month.

Lanlehin, then took the opportunity to felicitate the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso I, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik AbdulGaniyy Abubakri Agbotomokekere, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alh Daud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak), all Muslim Ulama, and every Muslim, on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Fitr, sincerely wishing them all, its ensuing benefits, here, and in the hereafter.
