Eid-el-Fitr: Imbibe Lessons of Ramadan, Continue Praying Against Economic Hardship, Insecurity – Barrister Bayo Lawal Urges Muslims

Following the completion of the Holy month of Ramadan, the Chairman, Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal has felicitated with Muslim faithful on Eid-ul-fitr celebration urging them to imbibe the moral lessons and teachings of the Holy month.

Bayo Lawal made this known in an Eid-el-fitr congratulatory message made available to journalists on Thursday, in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

The Former Attorney General of the state also urged Muslims not to stop praying for the Oyo state government-led by Engineer Seyi Makinde and the country against insecurity, economic hardship and other challenges facing the state and the nation.

He Prayed to Allah to use the just concluded month of blessings to answer the prayers of all citizens on countless and unendurable degree of sufferings being experienced by Nigerians.

His words: “Glory be to Allah for the completion of the Holy month of Ramadan. We thank him for sparing our lives to witness today. I want to use this opportunity to congratulate all Muslim faithful in Oyo state, Nigeria and the world at large.

“Ramadan has come and gone but the lessons and teachings of the holy month should not leave us. Let us imbibe them and fear Allah in everything we are doing because in overcoming challenges, both the government and the people must work together.

“The challenges of insecurity and economic hardship facing us are more than a man’s job. We all need to continue supporting the government of Oyo state, led by His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the Federal Government in prayers and other forms of support required from us.

“I know God, our creator will make us overcome these challenges soon.”

The Bamofin of Kisi also used the opportunity to rejoice with eminent personalities across the state, sons and daughters of Kisi in Irepo local government area of the state.
