Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman hails Christians on Easter Celebration, Enjoins Christians to open hearts to God and trust Him with humility

Spring ushers in one of the most cheerful holidays of the year: Easter! The special springtime occasion symbolizes hope, renewal and growth. Easter is a time to rejoice, be thankful, be assured that all is forgiven, so life extends beyond the soil of the earth. The Federal Commissioner For Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission and former Kwara State governorship aspirant, Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman Abdullahi has felicitated with Christian faithfuls in Kwara State and beyond on the occasion of the Year 2021 Easter Celebration.

Jesus Christ’s Resurrection fills Christians with hope. This hope is not merely a superficial and exaggerated optimism that is unconfirmed by facts. This hope is their trust in God. Good Friday is a day of darkness and death, the Holy Saturday that follows is also a day of emptiness and sadness. These two days are filled with suffering and disappointment, but Easter Sunday is a day filled with life and joy, like the dawn that is certain to come after the darkness of the night.

Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman remarked, “Today, we are living under the shadow of the pandemic and are in the middle of uncertainty. It is like experiencing Good Friday, a day for pain, sadness, fear and death. However, Easter gives us the strength and faith to face all difficulties and the hope to triumph over all. This is because we know that every Good Friday is followed by an Easter Sunday, just as the dawn arrives after the darkness of the night. Therefore we must open our hearts to God and place our trust in him with humility”.

“It’s such a hopeful time of year, and I wish you every good thing at Easter and always. May this Easter inspires you to new hope, happiness, prosperity, and abundance, all received through God’s divine grace. Wishing you the hope and beauty of springtime and the promise of brighter days.

I enjoin everyone to put trust in the triumphal Lord and not to let ourselves be enslaved by darkness. May the Lord bless us with courage and peace so that we may have an Easter filled with joy and hope”, he prayed.
