PMS: Makinde issues stern warning to Auxiliary

The Oyo State Government has vehemently warned the chairman Park Management Disciplinary Committee, Alhaji Lamidi Mukaila  Auxiliary to call members of the PMS to order or risked being fired.

The state Commissioner for Works, Infrastructure and Transport, Professor Rapheal Afonja issued the statement on Sunday while featuring on Fresh FM program, “Cross Fire.”

He was reacting to complaints from members of the public who alleged that the Park Managers do harass and humiliate motorists and Okada riders over levies imposed on them.

Afonja said, “no one is indispensable, I want to specifically warn Auxiliary to as a matter of fact, check the excesses of his members or get fired, we won’t hesitate to bring other people on board.” 

Auxiliary is being referred to as “Deputy Governor” as his boys go round town to intimidate traders, shop owners at Iwo-Road, Mouthpiece NGR learnt.
