Bauchi Gov Candidate, Ibrahim Kashim Resigns From Party
The Bauchi State governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Ibrahim Kashim, has resigned from the party.
Kashim announced his resignation in a statement on Monday, saying the decision took effect from October 16, 2026.
He said the decision followed careful reflection but stressed that it would not affect his commitment to the struggle for a better Bauchi State.
“My conviction remains that our dear state deserves purposeful leadership, a stronger economy, greater opportunities for our youths and women, improved security, and a future in which every citizen can live with dignity and hope,” he said.
