74-Year-Old Ex-Senator Marries 18-Year-Old Granddaughter’s Best Friend

A 74-year-old former Nigerian senator has sparked online discussion after marrying an 18-year-old lady said to be his granddaughter’s best friend in a lavish ceremony.

The former lawmaker, Emmanuel Dangana Ocheja, represented Kogi East Senatorial District in the National Assembly from June 6, 2011 to 2015.

Ocheja reportedly married his granddaughter’s best friend, identified as Winifred, as his new wife.

A video from the wedding was shared by film producer and Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON) Ventures, Seun Oloketuyi.

In the clip that has generated significant attention online, the former senator was seen dancing with his 18-year-old bride, who appeared excited as she joined him on the dance floor.
