Makinde/Adekanmbi Youth Team Takes Campaign To Elebu, Gets Massive Turnout

The Youth Mobilisation Team of the Governor Seyi Makinde and Bimbo Adekanmbi campaign has taken its consultation drive to Elebu and adjoining communities in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, where it received a massive turnout of youths and community stakeholders.

The team, led by the Director of the Youth Mobilisation Directorate, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, engaged youths in a consultation meeting aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and soliciting their support for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during the meeting, youths from Elebu and its environs welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with the campaign team. They also presented their concerns and personal requests, while highlighting areas where government interventions could further improve the lives of residents.

The youths commended the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde for what they described as numerous developmental projects across Oyo State, noting that some of the projects had positively impacted their communities.

They particularly appreciated the efforts that led to the improvement and facilitation of the Elebu road, saying the road has significantly eased transportation and movement within the area. They also commended the Chairman of Ido Local Government for his role in facilitating the road project.

Responding, Hon. Bolarinwa thanked the youths of Elebu and neighbouring communities for their continued support for the Makinde administration.

He said the consultation was not merely about politics but also about listening to the people at the grassroots, understanding their needs and building stronger relationships ahead of the 2027 elections.

Bolarinwa appealed to the youths to reciprocate the developmental strides of the administration by giving their full support to the APM and its candidates at the polls.

According to him, the people of Oyo State have witnessed significant development under Governor Makinde, and the next step is to ensure continuity by supporting the APM candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi.

“Like Oliver Twist, we are asking for more. We are asking for your 100 per cent support for Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, Governor Seyi Makinde and all APM candidates at the general election,” Bolarinwa said.

He assured the youths that Adekanmbi, if elected, would build on the achievements of the Makinde administration and continue the development-oriented programmes that have impacted communities across the state.

Bolarinwa urged the youths to remain united, mobilise their peers and actively participate in the electoral process, stressing that their support would be crucial to the success of the APM at the polls.

The meeting ended with renewed engagement between the youth mobilisation team and residents, as youths in attendance expressed their readiness to work with the movement and support the party’s candidates.
