Oyo NATA, RTEAN Endorses Bimbo Adekanmbi, Declares Absolute Support for Omituntun 3.0

The Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA), and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in Oyo State have jointly adopted the candidacy of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, the APM Gubernatorial flagbearer in Oyo State, declaring absolute commitment and support towards his victory in the 2027 Governorship election, and in the actualization of Omituntun 3.0 administration in the State.

Speaking at the endorsement event with happened at the central meeting site of NATA in Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State on Thursday 10th September 2026, the National President of NATA, Comrade Dele Odewale spoke glowingly about the character and capacity of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, and about his known commitment towards growth, development and economic expansion of Oyo State.

Comrade Dele Odewale explained that Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi is a well known entity to himself and NATA as a body in Oyo State, and that he is a man who has excellent work relationship and antecedents with their association. This robust and well refined relationship informed their unanimous and unalloyed declaration of support towards his governorship ambition, with no plans to entertain any other candidates in the course of campaign and electioneering.

Also speaking at the event was the Chairman of the Oyo State Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Alhaji Bashiru Owoiya (a.k.a Jagunlabi), who alongside stakeholders of their association also affirmed their total support for Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, highlighting his passion for a greater Oyo State, and the irrepresible support their association has enjoyed from Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration as their motivating factors.

Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi expressed immense gratitude to the Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA), the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Market Men & Women, as well as Traders present for the confidence reposed in his candidacy, and for the important endorsement decision they took, promising not to disappoint them.

“I have been across Oyo State, meeting different artisan and trader associations, and I can confirm to you that all your concerns and expectations are well noted by me, and I’ll give them the needed attention as Governor of Oyo State in 2027, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi affirmed.”

Also present at this epoch event were the National Secretary of NATA – Comrade Ajetunmobi, Assistant National Secretary of NATA – Alhaji Ahmed Gbadegesin, Oyo State Chairman of NATA – Comrade Adigun Ismaila, Oyo State Secretary – Comrade Adegoke Moruff, alongside other executive members and general members of the association.

Stakeholders of the Allied People’s Movement present included, Ona Ara Local Government Chairman – Hon. Kolapo Temitope (Glorious), Oluyole Local Government Chairman and Rep. Candidate for Oluyole – Hon. Akeem Olatunji (Sarsino), APM Egbeda/Ona-ara Rep. candidate – Hon. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), Hon. Popoola Olaide Settle, Alhaji Bashiru Hamzat, Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo, Hon. Kehinde Abore, alongside several other party stakeholders.
