BREAKING: Building Collapses in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja; Rescue Operation Underway*

A building has collapsed in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, triggering a rescue operation by emergency responders.

The incident occurred about one hour ago. Personnel of the FCT Fire Service are currently at the scene carrying out rescue operations. Three ambulances have also been stationed at the site to attend to casualties.

According to sources, the FCT Administration’s Department of Development Control had earlier on Monday sealed the building and directed occupants to vacate the premises.

Details on casualties and the cause of the collapse are yet to be confirmed as rescue efforts continue.

Authorities have cordoned off the area to allow emergency workers access and to prevent further risk to residents and passersby.
