Ashamu Urges Graduating Students To Look Beyond The Classroom, Rewards Best Scholars
The Allied People’s Movement, APM, candidate for Oyo Federal Constituency, Hon. Temilolu Nurudeen Ashamu, popularly known as Seun TNA, has urged graduating students to look beyond the classroom by embracing discipline, good character and continuous learning.
Ashamu gave the charge at the 2026 Valedictory Service of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education Model High School, Oyo, where he served as Chairman.
He congratulated the graduating class on reaching a significant milestone, describing education as the foundation for a successful and meaningful future.
He encouraged the students to see learning as a lifelong pursuit, stressing that true success is determined not only by academic excellence but also by exposure, resilience and strong moral values.
“Your background may shape your beginning, but it does not have to define your future,” Ashamu said, urging them to remain committed to excellence and take advantage of every opportunity for personal growth.
He also commended the school management, teachers and parents for their dedication to raising future leaders, noting that investment in education remains one of the greatest commitments any society can make toward sustainable development.
In recognition of outstanding academic performance, Ashamu presented cash awards to the best graduating male and female students. He congratulated them on their achievements and urged them to sustain the culture of excellence in their future academic and professional pursuits.
The 2026 Valedictory Service was attended by students, parents, teachers and other distinguished guests. The event further reinforced Emmanuel Alayande University of Education Model High School’s tradition of academic excellence and character development.
