*‘We cannot rule it out’ — Bwala hints at terrorist agents in army, police*
President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has said the possibility of terrorist agents infiltrating the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, cannot be ruled out.
Bwala made the remark on _The Link Up Podcast_, a panel discussion hosted by EchoRoom and published on Friday, while responding to a question on whether the military has been infiltrated by agents of terrorism.
He said such infiltration was possible, recalling that some army officers and policemen have previously been arrested over alleged links to terrorism in Nigeria.
“You cannot rule out the fact that they may have one or two agents in the army, or anywhere else,” he said.
“Our police have been arrested. Soldiers have been arrested in connection with this kind of thing.”
