”Good Omen for Ogbomoso Zone” – Adegbite Hails Open Salawu’s APM Deputy Gov Ticket’

Hon. Adegbite Isaac Adeeyo, has congratulated Engr. Muftau Open Salawu on his emergence as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement, APM, for the 2027 Oyo State gubernatorial election.

In a congratulatory message on Thursday, Adeeyo described Salawu as an erudite engineer, pragmatic administrator, committed Muslim, community leader, and pious family man.

He said Salawu’s emergence reflects his political clout and humanitarian interventions over the years.

“Despite being a devoted Muslim, you donated a Sienna bus to the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, in Ogbomoso zone. You have personally built several mosques across the length and breadth of Ogbomoso. Your financial support for the development of Ogbomoso community is evident in your countless contributions to developmental projects in the town,” Adeeyo stated.

The APM chieftain added that Salawu’s emergence is a good omen for the people of Ogbomoso Zone, noting that he is a full-blooded indigene of the town with an incontrovertible noble lineage.

“Ogbomoso will forever appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde for deeming it fit to zone this important position to Ogbomoso Zone,” he said.

Adeeyo, however, expressed confidence that APM governorship candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, will benefit from Salawu’s contributions and services in his administration due to his humility.
