Princess Abeo Nurudeen Congratulates Oyo’s New Commissioner Idowu Oyeleke, Hails Women in Makinde’s Exco
Princess Afolashade Abeo Nurudeen, Managing Director/CEO of Ur’Image Couture and prominent Oyo market leader, has congratulated Dr. Lateef Idowu Oyeleke on his confirmation as Oyo State Commissioner for Special Duties.
The Oyo-born princess described her kinsman’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his competence, dedication to public service, and commitment to the state’s development.
“I am confident he will bring his experience and leadership to bear in advancing the administration’s developmental agenda and delivering results for our people,” she said.
As an advocate for women’s advancement, Princess Abeo also celebrated female appointees in the new Oyo Executive Council. She congratulated Dr. Adenike Ayobami Fasina, mni, on her appointment as Head of Service, and Alhaja Fausat Ajoke Sanni as Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives.
“As a market stakeholder, I welcome Alhaja Fausat Ajoke Sanni to this role. Her experience will boost economic growth, investment promotion, and the empowerment of businesses and cooperatives across the state,” she added.
Princess Abeo also congratulated Barr. Ayobami Oluwaseun Ojo on his appointment as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.
She said the appointments reflect Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment to inclusiveness, merit, competence, and effective governance.
“The emergence of these distinguished individuals into key positions is positive for Oyo State. Their experience and dedication will contribute to our continued progress,” she stated.
Princess Abeo commended Governor Makinde’s visionary leadership and prayed for him, the Executive Council, and the Oyo State Government for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance.
She also prayed for peace, prosperity, and sustained development in Oyo State, urging stakeholders to support the administration’s efforts to build a more prosperous state.
