My loyalty remains with Gov. Makinde— Oyo lawmaker, Ogundele denounces rumors

Oyo lawmaker, Hon. Akintola Johnson Ogundele, representing Oriire State Constituency, has denied rumors of leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ogundele described the claims as false, reaffirming his commitment to the PDP and expressing unalloyed loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde, whom he praised as a leader par excellence.

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that Hon. Ogundele response comes after rumors spread on Facebook with fake pictures suggesting he had dumped PDP.

But reacting in a statement on Friday, Hon. Ogundele said the purported plan to dump PDP is far from the truth, stressing that he remains a PDP member and is 100% loyal to Governor Makinde.

The statement reads: “For clarity, I, Hon. Johnson Akintola Ogundele, reaffirm that I am and will remain a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). My loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde is unwavering, and I will continue to stand with him. I also reaffirm my unshakeable loyalty to the Chief of Staff, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, and my leaders. I urge everyone to disregard false rumors suggesting I’ve left the party.”
