Makinde commissions 768kw Basorun Fajimi Yeronbi solar energy station for Olubadan palace

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday, commissioned 768kw Basorun Fajimi Yerombi Solar energy station for Olubadan Palace which was donated by Chief Oladiran Abiodun Alabi, the chairman of The Agic Group Holding Corporation.

During the commissioning ceremony, the Governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, commended the installation of the Solar energy to power the Olubadan palace.

He praised the donor immensely for his contribution, particularly for completing the multi-million naira solar energy project for commissioning. 

The Governor noted that Oyo State Government will continue to ensure power is available as testified by the power project which was recently commissioned at the Agodi Secretariat.

He called on well meaning individuals to join hands with the government to make Oyo State great. 

Earlier in his remarks, Chief Oladiran Yerombi, a top-tier professional with over 30 years of business development and acquisition, lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for facilitating the release of the humongous total amount of money enough to complete the entire project to a commissioning stage. 

He equally commended the Governor for the eventual moving into the palace by the present Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Olakunlehin after his installation on the 12th July, 2024. 

Noting that the AGIC Energy stand a pioneers in providing quality renewable energy solutions through their solar equipment, Oyerombi maintained that the company commitment to excellence is reflected in every DC product, renewable energy solution. 

He added that every renewable park the company build, paves the way for a sustainable future, discover a new era of innovation and reliability as the company lead charge in green energy.

He, however, pledge his continuous support to humanity and community engagement for the development of Ibadanland and Oyo state at large.
