…Set To Distribute Campaign Materials After Donation of Two Campaign Buses
Ahead of the forthcoming 2027 general election, the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board (OYSHMB), Hon. Adekunle Bankole, has called for massive support for all candidates of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), from the House of Assembly in Oriire to Governorship and the Presidency, saying the party is presenting credible candidates to bring desired change that will positively affect everyone.
Bankole made the call when he hosted members of his caucus from Ward 1 to 10 in Oriire Local Government, including members of the Bimbo-Open Support Group (BSG) from Ogbomoso North, at his residence in Randa, on Saturday.
He said the APM will reset Nigeria at the federal level when Governor Seyi Makinde is voted in as President, as well as sustain development when Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi and Engr. Muftau Open Salawu are elected, including House of Assembly members of the party.
According to him, the APM remains the most credible alternative with people-oriented policies, and its candidates have the capacity, experience and compassion to deliver good governance.
While encouraging the people to support Governor Makinde and all candidates of the party from the House of Assembly to the Presidency, he added that the party is in the best position to better the lives of Nigerians and the people of Oyo State through proper representation and good governance.
Hon. Bankole, who equally charged his supporters to go back to their wards and mobilize aggressively for the party, noted that the 2027 election is about the future of Oyo State and Nigeria, urging them not to be distracted by opposition propaganda.
He emphasized that Governor Makinde’s sterling performance in Oyo State is a clear testament to what the APM can achieve at the national level if given the mandate, adding that continuity and expansion of the good governance template is necessary.
To boost the mobilization drive, the OYSHMB Chairman, who had earlier donated two campaign vehicles last month, assured supporters that he will commence the distribution of campaign materials as soon as possible across wards in Orire local government area.
He charged them to make judicious use of the items for grassroots engagement and door-to-door campaigns when they receive it.
The meeting, which was well attended by party faithful, youth groups, women leaders and community stakeholders, ended with renewed commitment from the supporters to deliver massive votes for all APM candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
