Rabiu Bello Re-energizes APM Grassroots in Ogbomoso North, Tours Wards, Donates N1m

As part of efforts to support party members of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, the chairmanship candidate for the forthcoming local government elections in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, Hon. Rabiu Bello, has donated the sum of one million naira to the party.

He made the donation on Friday at the party general meeting held at DC Primary School in Masifa.

Hon. Rabiu Bello, who had earlier in the week embarked on a ward-to-ward tour across the local government area with a financial support of one million naira, said the tour was aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structure ahead of the polls.

According to him, the visits afforded him the opportunity to interact directly with party faithful, listen to their concerns, and reassure them of his commitment to inclusive and people-oriented leadership.

“The purpose of this tour was to go back to the grassroots, meet our people, and let them know that APM is a party for all. We are building a structure that will deliver victory for our party in Ogbomoso North,” he said.

Bello described the donation as a token of appreciation for the loyalty, dedication, support, and love shown to him since his emergence as the party’s flagbearer for the Ogbomoso North Chairmanship position.

He said the gesture was meant to motivate members and encourage them to work harder for the success of APM in the upcoming local government elections.

The chairmanship candidate also extended appreciation to APM leaders in Ogbomoso North, including the APM Deputy Governorship candidate, Engr. Open Salawu, Commissioner Dotun Oyelade, Hon. Lanre Odua, Hon. George Ogunlade, Hon. Akinwole Solomon Wolekanle, Professor Abdulrahman Raphael Afonja, Hon. Jide Oketunbi, and Engr. Abusalam Arije, among others, for their support.

He assured that if elected, he would fulfill his promise of delivering the dividends of democracy to all groups, including youths, women, and elders.

Party leaders and members at the meeting, however, received the donation with excitement and appreciation, describing Hon. Bello as a candidate with the capacity, humility, and passion to lead the council.

Speaking at the event, some APM leaders in Ogbomoso North commended the chairmanship candidate for his commitment to the party and the people.

They noted that his ward-to-ward engagement had re-energized the party and created renewed enthusiasm among members across the local government.

They urged party faithful to remain united and work collectively to ensure victory for APM in all elective positions in the forthcoming polls.

The meeting ended with prayers and solidarity songs as members expressed optimism that APM would emerge victorious in Ogbomoso North.

Notable among those in attendance were Alh. Edison Garuba, Hon. Sunday Bankole, State Treasurer; Hon. Samurat Fatai, Deputy Leader of the House, Ogbomoso North; Hon.
