Irepo Chairman, Olayiwola Unveils Police Outpost At Adagbangba

The Chairman of Irepo Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. TundeTaoheed Olayiwola, also known as TT, has unveiled unveiled a new police outpost at Adagbangba to strengthen security and improve response to crime in the community and its environs.

Dislcosing this to MOUTHPIECE NGR on Monday, the chairman said the project was part of his administration’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property and supporting security agencies in the council area.

He noted that the provision of the outpost would enhance police presence, deter criminal activities and give residents renewed confidence to go about their lawful activities.

Hon. Olayiwola, who had over the weekend also unveiled Amotekun outpost along Sabo Gari Madina which was commissioned by Oyo Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, said security remains a top priority of the local government.

He added that his administration will continue to collaborate with traditional leaders, community stakeholders and security agencies to ensure peace across Irepo.

The chairman however commended the Nigeria Police Force for its efforts in maintaining law and order in the local government, whilst assuring them of his continued logistical support.

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that residents and community leaders who attended the event lauded the initiative, describing it as timely and crucial to addressing security challenges in Adagbangba and neighbouring communities.

The new outpost is expected to commence full operation immediately.
