Dr. Glorious Provides Chairs, Desks For Public Schools, Motorcycles For Security In Ona-Ara

The administration of Dr. Kolapo Temitope Glorious in Ona-Ara Local Government Area has taken new steps to improve education and strengthen security, with the provision of furniture for public schools and motorcycles for security agents across the council.

A key focus of the intervention is education. Through the distribution of chairs and desks to public schools in Ona-Ara, students now have access to a more conducive learning environment to pursue their academic goals.

According to the council, the initiative aligns with the vision of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, which has helped reduce the number of out-of-school children to the barest minimum.

The education project was officially commissioned by the *Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Segun Olayiwola*.

The presence of the Commissioner, the council said, reflects the state government’s shared commitment to strengthening education across communities in Oyo State.

In a related development, Dr. Glorious also distributed motorcycles to all security agents in Ona-Ara Local Government.

The gesture is aimed at enhancing the security architecture of the council and protecting the lives and property of residents, in line with the directive of Governor Seyi Makinde.

The administration noted that the dual interventions in education and security are part of efforts to ensure sustainable development and improved welfare for residents of Ona-Ara.

“Investing in our children is investing in the future of Ona-Ara,” the statement added.
