Clergymen Pray for APM Ticket as Open Salawu Attends Shiloh 2026, CCC Thanksgiving

The Deputy Governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, Engr. Open Salawu, on Sunday joined thousands of worshippers at two major Christian events in Ibadan, praying for divine guidance and success ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Open Salawu first attended Shiloh 2026, a special service with Evangelist Isaac Omolehin hosted by Lighthouse International Christian Centre, Ibadan.

The service, themed around divine encounter and national restoration, drew a large congregation of believers from across Oyo State.

Later in the day, he was the Principal Guest of Honour at the 55th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service of the Celestial Church of Christ, CCC, Barracks Road Parish, Mokola, Ibadan.

He was warmly received by the church leadership, shepherds, and members who accorded him strong affection and recognition as a leader committed to service.

In his remarks at CCC Barracks Road, Open Salawu expressed gratitude for the prayers and support of the church. He described faith, unity and community service as essential pillars for building a better Oyo State.

Clergymen at both events offered special prayers for Open Salawu and the APM governorship candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, ahead of the 2027 polls.

The prayers centered on wisdom, peace, credible elections, and victory for the APM ticket.

The deputy governorship candidate said the APM campaign is anchored on competence, people-oriented governance and the well-being of all residents, irrespective of religion or background.

He urged Nigerians to remain prayerful and committed to nation-building, noting that leadership must be rooted in the fear of God and dedication to public service.

Engr. Open Salawu was accompanied to the events by Oyo lawmakers representing Ibadan North 1 & 2, Hon. Funke Comforter, Hon. Babajide Jagaban, Housing Corporation Chairman, Ademola Omotoso, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Project Delivery, Hon. Abiodun Laurel, Special Assistant on Interfaith, Revd Ibukukle, as well as supporters who joined in the thanksgiving and worship.
