Politics Is a Journey, Not the End of the Road || By Alade Toheeb

The future of politics belongs to those who understand that political power is temporary, but the people remember how they were treated.

The decision surrounding Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade’s return as Chairman of Ogbomoso North may be painful to many of his supporters, but it is also a reminder that politics is a journey filled with victories, disappointments and unexpected turns.

We must not allow political differences to turn into hatred. We must learn to disagree without destroying one another, compete without bitterness, and make decisions based on competence, loyalty, performance and the interest of the people.

Hon. George Ogunlade may have been denied a second-term opportunity, but his political journey does not end with one decision. The future remains open, and history has a way of rewarding those who remain steadfast when the road becomes difficult.

Our support for the party remains firm. We believe in the future of our political family, and we will continue to work for unity, progress and victory.

Quote:

“In politics, today’s setback is not the end of the journey; sometimes, it is the beginning of a greater chapter.”

We choose loyalty over hatred, peace over bitterness, and the future over temporary disappointment.
