“Even ₦100m Won’t Make Me Kiss A Man On Screen” — Juliana Olayode Reaffirms Stance

Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode has reaffirmed her refusal to feature in romantic kissing scenes, saying no amount of money would make her compromise her Christian faith and personal convictions.

In an interview with _Tribune_, the actress said her decision is non-negotiable, regardless of financial incentives.

“Even if you offer me ₦100 million, I won’t kiss any man in a movie. The only exception is if that man is my husband,” she said.

Olayode explained that her stance is driven by her beliefs and not by fear of criticism or public opinion.

She added that while she has chosen to avoid intimate scenes, she does not judge colleagues who accept such roles.

“Every performer should have the freedom to establish personal boundaries based on their values and the type of content they are comfortable portraying,” she said.

The actress also called for respect for individual convictions in the entertainment industry, urging that actors should not be pressured into roles that conflict with their beliefs.

In a separate interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Olayode spoke on the restoration of her relationship with filmmaker Funke Akindele.

She credited God for mending their once-strained relationship, describing it as an answer to years of prayer.

Olayode said her desire for reconciliation was never about career opportunities or appearing in Funke’s productions, but about rebuilding their personal bond.

According to her, Akindele supported her during difficult periods, which made it important to seek peace and restore their friendship.

She expressed gratitude that their relationship has been renewed, calling it a testimony of God’s intervention in her life.
