`‘We’ll Deliver Ogbomoso for APM’ — Stakeholders Rally Behind Deputy Gov Candidate Open Salawu`
Stakeholders of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, in Ogbomoso North Local Government have reaffirmed their commitment to the party and pledged support for its Deputy Governorship candidate, Alhaji Muftau Open Salawu.
The resolution was reached at a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held in Ogbomoso, where party leaders reviewed the political situation in Oyo State and mapped out strategies to strengthen the party ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The stakeholders urged members to set aside grievances and personal differences and work together to deliver overwhelming votes for the APM in Ogbomoso.
They stressed that unity, commitment and grassroots mobilization remain critical to the party’s success.
Speaking at the meeting, party leaders expressed confidence in APM’s leadership and commended Open Salawu for his dedication to the party’s growth and his continued engagement with members across Oyo State.
They also pledged to intensify membership mobilization, strengthen party structures across all wards in Ogbomoso North, and ensure that APM remains a formidable political force in the state.
Among those in attendance were: Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, Chairman, Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole; Chairman, Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Ogunlade, Immediate past Chairman, Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. Kabir Ayoade, Former Commissioner for Works, Prof. Raphael Afonja, and other party leaders and stakeholders.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by stakeholders to remain united, support Open Salawu’s political aspirations, and work to secure massive electoral support for the APM across Ogbomoso and Oyo State.
