*Oyo LGSC Charges HLGAs, Directors of Works on Discipline, Efficiency at Grassroots*

The Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, LGSC, has concluded a strategic quarterly meeting with all Heads of Local Governments, Acting Heads, and Directors of Works across the 33 local governments and 35 LCDA’s in the state.

The meeting, held at the Commission’s headquarters in Ibadan, focused on key operational issues affecting service delivery at the grassroots level.

In his address, the Chairman of the Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, described the HLGAs, Acting HLGAs and Directors of Works as critical representatives of the Commission in their respective councils.

He charged the accounting officers to raise the bar of discipline through punctuality, dedication, and improved efficiency in service delivery, in line with the vision of the Oyo State Government under Governor Seyi Makinde.

“To whom much is given, much is expected. The welfare of serving and retired workers in Oyo State has improved significantly due to the state’s growing economy. Oyo is now more attractive to investors and residents, courtesy of our God-Sent Man, GSM,” Bashorun Akinwale said.
