Oyo APM Guber Candidate Takes ‘Thank You Tour’ to Ogbomoso, Seeks Support for Bode Fire Victims

The Oyo State governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, will today continue his “Thank You Tour” with visits to Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire local government areas.

Adekanmbi is expected to meet with elders, youth groups, women groups and other stakeholders in the Ogbomoso axis.

The tour is a continuation of visits to Ibarapa Zone, Ido, Oluyole and Akinyele LGAs in the past week.

The APM candidate said the tour is not only to express appreciation but also to listen to constituents as he delivers a message of hope, unity and continuity across the state.

Adekanmbi, a former Oyo State Commissioner for Finance and financial expert, received commendations for his visit and donation of N2.5 million to victims of the fire that gutted the herbs market at Bode, near Molete in Ibadan, on Friday.

“Politics and governance are important, but they must take the back seat whenever disaster strikes,” Adekanmbi said.

He said he continues to pray for those affected by the inferno and called on government at all levels, the private sector and people of goodwill to support the victims.
