APM guber candidate Adekanmbi hails D’Damark’s legacy of faith, service
The Allied Peoples Movement, APM, governorship candidate in Oyo State, Bimbo Adekanmbi, has joined family members, friends and the Muslim Ummah to celebrate the birthday of the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji (Dr.) Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, popularly known as D’Damark.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, Adekanmbi described the Islamic leader as a devoted Muslim and an outstanding ambassador of the faith whose commitment to the growth and promotion of Islam continues to inspire people across Oyo State, the South-West and Nigeria.
The APM standard-bearer commended Alhaji Akinola’s decades of service to Islam, noting that his leadership has strengthened religious harmony, unity and moral values within the Muslim community.
Adekanmbi also praised D’Damark’s philanthropic activities, saying his generosity has positively impacted countless lives irrespective of religious affiliation.
“Alhaji Akinola’s humanitarian interventions and selfless service have earned him admiration beyond the Muslim community. Many people, including non-Muslims, have benefited from his kindness and compassion,” he said.
He prayed for Allah to grant the Aare Musulumi good health, long life and greater wisdom to continue serving Islam and humanity.
