Oyo Lawmaker, Bisi Oluranti Meets Market Leaders in Ogbomoso North, Seeks Support Ahead of 2027

Oyo State lawmaker, Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, has begun consultations with market leaders in Ogbomoso North ahead of the 2027 elections.

Bisi Oluranti met with the Iyaloja and Babaloja of Ogbomoso North on Thursday at the Ojaigbo Market to discuss traders’ concerns and solicit their support for her re-election bid.

The lawmaker, who represents Ogbomoso North Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, said the meeting was part of ongoing grassroots engagements to ensure traders’ interests are reflected in government policies.

“We cannot talk about development in Ogbomoso North without talking to the people who drive commerce daily. The Iyaloja and Babaloja are critical stakeholders, and I am here to listen, partner, and secure your backing as we move toward 2027,” Bisi Oluranti said.

Responding, the market leaders commended the lawmaker for the direct engagement.

“Hon. Oluranti has shown that she values market women. We have tabled our challenges on market sanitation, storage, and levies, and we are confident she will take them to the House.

“We are assuring you of the traders’ cooperation. The Babaloja and Iyaloja councils will mobilize our members to support a leader who comes to us first. We will stand with Hon. Oluranti in 2027,” they said.

Bisi Oluranti however thanked the market leaders and pledged to sustain the dialogue throughout her campaign.
