Nigerian Man Curses Children Over Father’s Day Snub, Blames ‘Step-Father’

A Nigerian man, Goodluck Adegboye, says he has placed curses on his children using traditional means after they failed to acknowledge him on Father’s Day.

Adegboye said the children instead celebrated another man he described as their “step-father.” He attributed the development to his frustration, suggesting the children’s mother may have alienated them from him.

The incident highlights ongoing concerns over parental alienation and family disputes in Nigeria, where Father’s Day celebrations have increasingly become a flashpoint for estranged parents.

No official complaint had been filed with authorities as of press time.
