Makinde’s Leadership Created Foundation for Future Leaders – DoN Congratulates Open Salawu

The Federal Lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DoN), has congratulated Engr. Muftau Open Salawu on his emergence as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the party and running mate to Hon. Bimbo Adekanbi ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election in Oyo State.

Describing the development as a significant milestone for the party, Hon. Oyekunle said the emergence of Engr. Salawu reflects APM’s commitment to presenting a formidable, capable, and people-oriented leadership team for the future of Oyo State.

According to him, Engr. Salawu’s emergence is well deserved and comes at a crucial moment when experience, competence, and strategic leadership remain essential to sustaining progress and delivering impactful governance.

The federal lawmaker expressed confidence that the Bimbo Adekanbi–Muftau Salawu ticket would strengthen the party’s grassroots appeal and inspire broader support across the state ahead of the 2027 governorship contest.
