Ibadan North: Rep Oyekunle Begins Solar-Powered Water Projects in Five Wards
The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, has begun installing solar-powered water projects across the constituency to improve access to clean and sustainable water.
Oyekunle’s media aide, Akinwale Bodija, said the projects will enhance water access and living conditions for residents.
The first phase will cover Wards 2, 4, 7, 8 and 10. Beneficiaries will have a reliable supply of clean water upon completion, Bodija said.
He said the initiative shows Oyekunle’s commitment to people-oriented projects that directly address constituents’ needs.
Bodija added that the water projects fulfill Oyekunle’s campaign promises and reaffirm his dedication to responsive representation and grassroots development.
More projects are underway and will be commissioned soon to deepen infrastructure in the constituency, he said.
Residents and stakeholders have commended the intervention, calling it timely. They said it will improve public health, promote community welfare, and support sustainable development.
