Oyo Lawmaker, Bisi Oluranti Resigns Over Internal Crisis

A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abogunde Ward 01, Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, has resigned from the party with immediate effect, citing unresolved internal disputes.  

In a resignation letter addressed to the Ward Chairman, the member said the ongoing crisis within the PDP has continued to undermine the party’s stability, prompting the decision to leave.  

Bisi Oluranti, who is the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency, requested that her name and all personal details be expunged from the party’s database without delay to allow her pursue her political goals through another platform.  

The member also expressed gratitude for the experiences and support received during her time in the PDP.  

The resignation is the latest in a string of PDP exits in Oyo State as political realignments build ahead of the 2027 general elections.
