Oyo Lawmaker, Bisi Oluranti Greets Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir, Celebrates Children’s Day with Pupils

Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has extended felicitations to Muslims as they mark Eid-el-Kabir, while also celebrating with children to commemorate Children’s Day.

In a goodwill message released on Wednesday, the lawmaker congratulated Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urging them to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, love, and obedience symbolized by the festival.

“Eid-el-Kabir teaches us selflessness and devotion. I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to pray for peace, unity, and progress in our state and nation,” Oluranti Michael said.

She also marked Children’s Day by celebrating with pupils across her constituency, stressing the need to prioritize education, welfare, and protection of children as future leaders.

“Our children deserve quality education, a safe environment, and opportunities to thrive. As leaders, we must remain committed to policies that secure their future,” she added.

The lawmaker, who equally distributed staple foods and rams to her constituents, however wished Muslims a peaceful Sallah celebration and charged parents, teachers, and government to work collectively in nurturing children for national development.
