Ogbomoso North Chairman Hails Engr. Open Salawu as a Philanthropist and Community Builder
The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, has celebrated the Babalaje of Ogbomosoland, Engr. Open Salawu, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement released through his media aide, Alade, the chairman described the celebrant as a rare leader, philanthropist, and compassionate giver whose impact continues to be felt across Ogbomosoland and beyond. He noted that Engr. Open Salawu has remained committed to the service of humanity through his support for community development, youth empowerment, and grassroots progress.
Hon. George further commended the celebrant for his dedication and loyalty in public service as the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring, stating that his contributions to governance and society have earned him admiration from many people within and outside Ogbomoso.
The chairman added that it is a great privilege and source of pride for Ogbomoso to produce a personality of such outstanding character and influence, whose achievements continue to bring honour and recognition to the land.
He prayed that Almighty God grants the Babalaje of Ogbomosoland more wisdom, sound health, strength, and many more fruitful years filled with greater accomplishments and continuous service to humanity.
