‘My Friend and Brother’: Sanjo Adedoyin Celebrates Open Salawu on Birthday
The Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, has felicitated with the Babalaje of Ogbomosoland and Chairman, Project Delivery, Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message released on Saturday, Hon. Adedoyin described Salawu as a brother, friend, and committed son of Ogbomosoland whose contributions to community development and grassroots engagement have earned him respect across the constituency.
“Open Salawu is more than an acquaintance; he is a brother whose dedication to the progress of our people is evident in his consistent support for youth and community initiatives,” the lawmaker said.
Hon. Adedoyin, who is the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso South state Constituency, noted that Salawu’s willingness to stand with the people at the grassroots reflects the kind of selfless service needed to strengthen community bonds and drive local development.
He added that this commitment aligns with his own legislative focus on inclusive growth and citizen-centered representation.
The lawmaker equally commended Salawu’s role as Giwa Adinni of Oyo State and his contributions to the Muslim community, describing him as an upright Muslim.
He, however, prayed for continued good health, peace, and greater achievements for Salawu in the coming year, expressing confidence that his influence would continue to benefit the people of Ogbomoso land.
“May this new chapter bring you sound health, divine wisdom, and greater opportunities to serve humanity. Your positive impact on our community has not gone unnoticed, and I look forward to more collaboration in advancing the welfare of our people,” the statement read.
The felicitation comes as political activities gradually build momentum in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 general elections, with lawmakers engaging constituents and stakeholders through community-based gestures and projects.
