Police Arrest Man With 6-Year-Old Girl’s Head In Ibadan
The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 23-year-old suspect, Sodiq Kayode Akorede, in connection with the murder of a six-year-old girl in Ibadan.
In a press release issued on Sunday, the command disclosed that the incident occurred on April 11, 2026, at Adigun Village in the Olorunda Ogunsola area of the city. The victim was identified as Mutiyatu Sunday.
According to the statement, police authorities received intelligence that the young girl had been unlawfully killed, with her severed head reportedly found in the possession of the suspect at the location.
